Trunk or Treat
Here are some examples to jump start your creativity for the upcoming Connectional Church activity on October 29 from 1-3 PM in Salem’s parking lot. FDL/NFDL Trick-or-Treating begins at 3:30.
If you would like to help decorate cars or enter your own car for the event, please call or email me so I can schedule everyone and reserve a space for you.
Information I need:
Are you bringing a vehicle to decorate? If so, specify vehicle size such as van, SUV, compact car, sedan, bus, train, or U-haul. Also, what is your theme? Any theme is ok as long as there is a biblical connection or scripture referenced. See examples of pictures. You can order kits on Amazon and Oriental Trading if you don’t have the skills or time to create it on your own.
Will you bring your own candy/non-candy surprises for approximately 200 kids or use the donated candy from the churches? No worries, if you bring some and run out, we will have additional to supply you with.
We have several games planned that are 1 minute-to-Win-It games so we keep the lines moving like bowling, ring toss, tic-tac-toe, egg and spoon relays, ping pong toss in bucket, bean bag target games, etc. If you would like to help with games, please let me know.
This event will be a blast so we hope you will join us in the event and assist in promoting it in the community as well! It will be Spooktacular with music as well!

More information will be distributed as the events approach. This is designed to connect all three Methodist Churches in the area to build strong relationships and community. We are all here to build God’s Kingdom and need to rely on each other for support.

- November 23 Thanksgiving Dinner (4:30pm -6:00pm) Salem Fellowship Hall
- December 2 Parents Night Out (5pm-9pm) Ages 0-12 Covenant Church
