Mark Your Calendar – It’s Coming -----
Apple Harvest Festival
October 15, 2022
We are looking forward to having a more typical Apple Harvest Festival this year.
Apple Pies
Please mark your calendar and plan to help making pies the first two weeks of October. If you are newly retired or have flexibility in your work schedule, join our faithful apple peelers, dough boys, holy rollers and all others as often as you can. Even an hour or two is wonderful. We start at 9:00 am. If we have a crew of 15, pies will be baked and freezers will be full by lunch time.
Ray’s TV and Appliance donated to Salem the freezer we have rented every year. Thank you!!!
Silent Auction
Our basket ladies will be working at Salem this year. We always appreciate your donations for the baskets. Please put them in the plastic tub near the office. Think of interesting ideas, destinations, activities and get them to Salem. Contact Marilyn Haye with questions, ideas, etc. (920-923-0948 or wjhaye@charter.net)
Jams and Jellies
Are you able to help make jams and jellies? We’d like to use Michigan blueberries, Door County cherries, and Colorado peaches. If you are going to Door County and are willing to bring back frozen cherries, please contact Karen Kalsbeek (920-921-7033 or karen@kalsbeek.us).
THANK YOU EVERYONE for all working together to make this a wonderful Salem experience.
