Blue Christmas Worship Service A special worship service will be held at Salem UMC on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at 6:00 pm in the Chapel. This service is for those who find Christmas difficult due to grief, stress, addiction, illness, or strained relationships. It will include scripture readings, soothing music, hymns, and an opportunity to light a candle as a sign of remembrance and hope. All are welcome to attend and bring a friend.
Apple Harvest Pies
Every fall we make pies and apple pie in a jar. Please join the dough boys, apple peelers, or the mighty mixers. It's always great fun and everyone is welcome! Apple Pie-in-a-jar and Apple Pies are usually sold. Please contact the office at (920) 921-8605 for information on how to place an order or how to participate in the fun of making those amazing pies. We welcome anyone from any walk of life to join in to experience the fun of making pies.
The Farmers Market Each spring and summer Salem joins the Fond du Lac Farmers Market with a ministry that is both practical and meaningful-selling freshly baked hot out of the oven bread at our stand. Everyone is welcome to join in the fun, whether it is working at the farmers market stand, transporting hot bread or baking. 50% of our sales go to local nonprofit organizations. Our 'bread squad" is always excited to teach anyone who is interested in learning the art of bread making. We gather in the church kitchen to mix, knead, and bake loaves that are shared with the community as a sign of God's love. But it's more than just bread. The process of baking together brings peace, laughter, and fellowship to all who take part. We welcome anyone and everyone to join us in this seasonal ministry. Whether you like to bake, learn the craft for the first time, or simply enjoy the aroma and joy of fresh bread, there's a place for you in this Salem ministry!
Scrip Salem participates in the Scrip program. If you are interested in participating, please call the office for a current form. Click the button below for the schedule.
